Experiment in 8/6 c/c please be kind?

Stanza 2 is almost unobstructed - I think the other stanzas should follow the pattern of S2. Trochaic-Iambic-trochaic-iambic. I see a hinge dividing the first lines of each stanza, as if the first 3 beats is independent of the 2nd three. Fearful hearts, dumdeedum, always hide -dumdeedum (if dum is stressed). and the 2nd and 4th lines: question soon asked, dumdeedumdee. Since you started with trochee, I think a better combination would be 7/6. Thus, "is it sin" - dum dee dum. But 8 is ok too.
