How do I remove something off the FACEBOOK synopsis to the right of my name?

It says I "studied" at a particular college and this thing will not change to "graduated". Why can't I remove the whole thing? No one I've talked with knows how to remove it or edit it. I have tried every "edit" that the whole page offers.
